ETA Open Doors Program provides you with alternative work opportunities than traditional workforce development programs.

ETA Open Doors. GCMI recognizes the barriers re-entry clients face in the workforce. An alternative to normal workforce development programs is the Open Doors Entrepreneurial Training Academy. Entrepreneurial Training Academy is a 12-week course consisting of 12, 3-hour class sessions conducted one day a week from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.

The Open Doors Academy is designed to provide re-entry clients with the basic knowledge needed to start a business as well as provide you with useful tools to make your existing business successful. This course is designed to help address some of the personal issues that re-entry individuals face. The 12-week course covers goal setting, marketing, break even analysis, credit, interpersonal skills, and many other topics that will help with your development as a business owner. The course also includes Financial Educational classes that provide tools for personal financial management success.  You must complete 80% of the classes to receive your classroom certification.

GCMI recently conducted a 12-week Entrepreneurial Training Academy within the Lebanon Correctional Facility located in Warren County. This was the first of its kind and was well received by the participants.
